Manos del Uruguay Serpentina Yarn

Serpentina is a very special yarn, each skein is a work of art on its own. At their cooperatives in Uruguay countryside, the artisans first dye the colors to the merino top and then hand spun it in the spinning wheel. This creates a delicate color twirling effect that reminds us of the paper streamers (serpentinas) thrown at the Carnival parties.
