Shipping


What do you charge for shipping?
No matter where you are (even if it’s at the ends of the earth – and we’re so flattered that you would choose our yarn if that’s the case) Knit & Pearls will charge a flat shipping rate to anywhere in the United States. All items are sent USPS and are trackable but not insured:

U.S. $6.99
All orders will be processed within 1-2 business days. Standard Domestic shipping is 5-10 business days.

COVID Note:  In an extraordinary year of unprecedented challenges given the COVID-19 pandemic and a historic record of mail and package volume, packages may be delayed further than noted.

Please Note:
 Ownership of packages turned over to USPS transfers to the buyer. We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages. We are not responsible for mis-delivery errors via carrier, or incorrect shipping info. Shipping is a service you purchase from USPS along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by USPS. INSURANCE is available to add to any order, and is recommended for any order you can't afford to lose. If you would like insurance added to your order, please contact us by phone.

Returns


Can I return an item?
On the off-chance that you’re not loving your yarn, it may be returned within 60 days of purchase with receipt for store credit. However, store credit will not be given unless your yarn is in an acceptable state for Knit & Pearls. This means that it must be in its original condition, free of odor and all around not gross. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges related to returns.

There are no returns on discounted or sale yarn, books, patterns, kits and Yarns to Inspire. Class fees are not refundable unless class is cancelled by Knit & Pearls. This is an important paragraph, and we will point this out to you if you ask for a refund on any of the items stated above. So for the sake of not looking silly, keep this in mind when making a purchase!

What if I received something damaged?
If you have received an item that was damaged or defective (so not okay!), please email us at knit.pearls@gmail.com or call us at 860-404-0694. We’ll take it from there.


Disclaimer


Are colors accurate in your photos?
We try to make the color in our photos as close to what it looks in real life as possible (i.e., holding it in your hands in Knit & Pearls beneath our very lovely lighting). Even so, we can't guarantee that what you see on your monitor is accurate, since each monitor shows color differently. We don’t want you to be surprised (even if that shade of pink you were expecting was even better than you thought it would be), so should you have any questions about color, please feel free to call us at (860) 404-0694 for clarification.
