Calliope Sweater Class
If you have never knit a top-down sweater, Calliope is great one to start with. This sweater has an expanding rib at the neckline, simple rib at the hem, and long, dramatic sleeve cuffs.
You will learn how to do short-row shaping for the back neck, increasing for the raglan sleeves, putting sleeve stitches on waste yarn and picking them up once the body is finished.
In the end you will have a sweater that will easily fit in your wardrobe.
This class is 4 sessions with homework between sessions.

- Decide on yarn weight:
- Note: pattern calls for two strands of yarn held together to get the following gauge: 20 sts and 30 rnds = 10 cm / 4” after blocking with main gauge needles. The shop model uses one stand of a worsted weight yarn (which is what we recommend).
