Fake-Out Thrummed Mittens
Love the warmth of thrummed mittens but not the fuss of cutting and placing thrums? This class will show you how to create the same cozy, cushioned effect with a simpler method! Instead of inserting bits of roving into your stitches, you’ll strand a thicker yarn with a thinner weight yarn — giving you that plush, insulated mitten without the extra work.
In this class, you’ll learn how to knit a mitten in the round using magic loop, combine super bulky (i.e., Rasta) and worsted, aran, or dk yarns for the “fake thrummed” look, and shape the mitten for a comfortable, snug fit.

- Yarn & 32"inch fixed circular needle in size to get gauge
