Alpine Bloom Hat
Don’t be intimidated by colorwork!
Alpine Bloom is a great hat project to learn colorwork with its fun and beautiful Scandinavian-inspired floral design. In this class you will learn how to manage your tension in stranded colorwork, carry and catch floats.
Date: Sunday, January 19th & 26th

Materials Needed:
- Purchase and print pattern from Ravelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/alpine-bloom-hat
- Yarn (pattern suggests Sport weight yarn)
- Needles to get gauge (pattern suggests US3 & US5)
- Shop Model is made with Kelbourne Woolens Camper and Freia Handpaints Minikins (fingering)
Class Pre-Work:
- Cast on for desired size using preferred method
- Knit ribbing until work measures 1.5” from cast on edge or to desired length
Requirements:
- Must know how to knit in the round and must be comfortable knitting small circumferences in the round for the crown of hat (i.e., DPNs, Magic Loop)
