Technique Lab: Basic Cables
Cables look intimidating but are surprisingly easy to knit. In this lab, you will learn how to make both left slanted and right slanted cables.

Materials Needed:
- Light colored worsted weight yarn (enough yarn to make a swatch)
- US 7or 8 needle
- Cable needle or DPN in similar size
Class Pre-Work:
- Cast on 19 stitches and work 6 rows in stockinette (i.e., knit one row, purl one row)
