Make the delightfully plush and cozy Bellamy Cowl as you learn Tunisian Crochet! This beginner level class is great for knitters and crocheters alike who are looking for something new to try. Tunisian Crochet has been called a hybrid of knitting and crochet and is simple to learn, offers interesting textures and creates a plush fabric that you’ll love making and wearing! From casting on and making button holes to weaving in your ends and finishing your Bellamy Cowl, you’ll learn all the skills you need to get hooked on Tunisian Crochet! Please note that this class is two sessions and there will be homework between class sessions.

HOMEWORK (for the first class):
Have all your materials in advance of the class, including a copy of the pattern. Please note, you should not get buttons for the first class session.
MATERIALS NEEDED (bring or buy at the shop):
Bellamy Cowl Pattern by Wanderlust Woolves (click here to purchase on Ravelry) and something to write with.
Approximately 200 yards of a chunky weight yarn in your choice of color (store samples crocheted in Malabrigo Chunky and Baby Alpaca Grande).
N / 15 (10mm) Tunisian Crochet Hook that is 12 - 14 inches long (We recommend the Denise Interchangeable Tunisian Crochet Hook with a 9 inch cord and end button.)
6 Buttons (1.25 - 1.5 inches long) - We will attach our buttons to the cowl during our second class, so you do not need your buttons for the first class.
Large Eyed Yarn Needle
Must be comfortable making a crochet chain and have either basic crochet or basic knitting experience.
